These page 16 and 17 have been very frustrating. Partly because I had difficulty trying to figure out a way to illustrate it that made sense to the viewer, and mostly because I had difficulty making sense of what was actually written. It was kind of vague. I wondered if it was some sort of reference to Guards! Guards! in which a good portion of the floors and walls of the Patrician's palace had been renovated according to the desires of the new "king". But it wasn't very clear.
Thus, somewhat clueless and too proud (and perhaps embarrassed) to ask another Discworld fan, I took the scholar's route; I guessed and made it up under the assumption that Vetinari is just that kind of a bastard to place random abysmal stone shafts behind creepy doors and tell interviewees to walk through them.
EDIT: As of Making Money, I can finally confirm that this is very likely a somewhat more accurate depiction of the scene than I had originally thought. Yay me.
Going Postal Comic Page 17. Based on the book by Terry Pratchett. Remember: The book is better! *wink wink*
I really do want to read this book now. I've been on a book hun this past month and nothing seems any good anywhere, but now I remember that you where illustrating this book... and it seems like a good one! Quirky, serious, a good original plot... of course, I'll be imagining all the characters as animals now, but that won't be so bad. ;0

I believe I shall. I will have a merry good 'ol time.
Man, now I'm all excited again. Making Money is coming out in two days! What shall I do with myself until then (besides drawing and working on the comic and doing homework and studying and such)?

a hand fell on my shoulder and a voice said

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
