This artwork caught my eye in the browser view, being a naturalistic portrait of an anthro dog. With its subdued, almost boring colour scheme, there's nothing to draw attention from the forms, shadows, posture, anatomy and expression of the character.
The anatomy is good, with the possible exception of the bend in his right arm; it seems to me that the lower arm should begin further to the left, obscuring more of the upper arm. Otherwise, good job, especially on the facial structures and their shadows. It looks deceptively clean and simple, but to make an image such as this, the artist must know his stuff.
Thank you, I appreciate the critique I did have trouble with the arm as I was drawing it so I can see what you mean about the odd placement and the bend. Arm anatomy usually seems to get the better of me in general but I think I'll get it in a head lock eventually
He really has a looking saying he's a pretty cinfident with the smoke. More BG's and his full postur might strengthen his air, may be.
*cough cough* AGH! I need fresh O2

Oh, and I love the cynical expression!
